HUFCOR FRAMELESS GLASSWALL

Frameless glasswall panels are available in heights to 10'5" [3.2m] and consist of glass panels that are mechanically fastened to horizontal top and bottom rails.  The top and bottom rails are of clear anodized aluminum, but may also be custom finished.  The glass is clear tempered and has polished edges and no vertical trim.  Laminated, translucent, etched, and other custom glass is available.

The panels suspend from an overhead track system.  The track is of clear anodized architectural grade aluminum.  Panels are available as single panels or paired (two panels hinged together).  Single (also known as omni-directional) panels can form intersections, be used in alternate locations, or stack in a remote location.  Paired panels are a good choice when the partition divides the space wall-to-wall in a straight line.  Pivot panels allow access between rooms.  An ADA compliant in-line pass door is an option on single models. 

Panels include interlocking pins in the edge of the bottom rail to ensure panel-to-panel alignment and stability.  Concealed floors pins extend into floor receptacles for stability and security.  Optional thumb-turn or key locks may be ordered.

There is a 1/4"-1/2" gap between the glass panels when they are in place to prevent glass-to-glass contact and possible breakage.  The size of the gap varies due to glass industry tolerances. 

Frameless glass panels are shipped fully assembled.
